This is the foundation of gym coaching. Strength training is a path to living a longer life and healthier living. It boosts metabolism, strengthens bones, improves joint health, enhances balance and posture, improves brain function and mood, supports chronic disease management, and so much more.

Focus on posture, flexibility, balance, and mobility.
Functional training is a focus on performing daily tasks. It’s strength training, but it’s also optimizing posture, increasing range of motion, challenging and maintaining balance across activities, and coordination for better movement overall.

Focus on nutritional education and modifying eating habits.
Nutritional coaching will help you make healthier dietary choices at home or on the road to support your goals, whether that’s managing or losing weight, supporting athletic activity, or just feeling better. We can:
- Assess and track medical, dietary, and lifestyle factors.
- Plan dietary changes to improve overall health and wellness, weight loss, or building muscle
- Assess and modify lifestyle behaviors, and implement maintenance strategies to support goals
- Set goals and establish accountability (e.g., checkins, tracking, education, actionable steps)

I can work with your physician or licensed dietitian to support their diagnoses and prescribed treatments, but you’ll need to talk with one of them to do the following:
- Receive a prescription for specific supplements or to develop specific meal plans
- Receive a diagnosis and treatment plan for dietary or other physical diseases

Focus on body image and aesthetic.
This is for folks who are already in pretty good shape but want a leaner body with more muscular definition or bulk. We’ll combine strength training and nutritional coaching into a program to build and shape muscles for a more sculpted body.

I come to your home in Queen Anne or West Seattle.
I bring my equipment, which may include dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, boxes, TRX, bands, or other toys. We also use anything you have at home.
We work out at your home in the yard, garage, living room, etc.

$100 / 1-hr session
+ cover any guest trainer feeWe work out the details of working with you at the gym as an outside trainer.
I come to your gym in Queen Anne or West Seattle, and we use whatever equipment is on site.
I’ll consider nearby neighborhoods, too. Just ask.
